The Maryland soil is still pretty frozen. I hunted a 10x10 area today that wasn't frozen and had a few keepers. Nice find it will only get better this spring.

Look at it this way, If you passed it up that day, you would have always wondered what it was. :D You'd have gone back someday, and dug it up just to see what it was. :laughing9:

I needed a jack hammer out there,once you got past the 6" mark it wasn't bad.Wind chill was in the mid 20's. I'll take you up on those detector's :thumbsup:

It didn't take me but a couple more min.'s after you left to head for the truck ;D Cold and frozen day then too.

First off, great job on the round ball. :thumbsup: Any time you can recover a piece of history like that it's a great day.

Don't listen to that old guy Quindy. When you get his age you lose bodily functions. (and bodily fluids)
