The Maryland soil is still pretty frozen. I hunted a 10x10 area today that wasn't frozen and had a few keepers. Nice find it will only get better this spring.

Oh I feel your pain Joe.
Look at it this way, If you passed it up that day, you would have always wondered what it was. You'd have gone back someday, and dug it up just to see what it was.

First off, great job on the round ball.
Any time you can recover a piece of history like that it's a great day.
Don't listen to that old guy Quindy. When you get his age you lose bodily functions. (and bodily fluids)
