I agree. I still get wheats & last week even found a Buffalo Nickel in my change. Havent found a silver coin in pocket change in over a year though.

While i would be tickled to find some silver in my pocket change.
getting it from someones dire straights or confusion would not thrill me
 
more likely kids stealing the old folks old coins, just my opinion
 
I have run cash registers for years and most of my silver has come from listening. Silver makes such a different sound from regular old clad. A few years back a man handed me a mint Peace dollar. I still can't believe it but apparently he was in serious need of a beer.
 
What's weird, is that I've checked my pocket change religiously every day and haven't made a silver find in 20+ years! ffd

this is far from someones dire straights or confusion.. just older people with older change. and a lot of the stuff we dig comes from someones dire straights or confusion... like CW RELICS lost in the confusion of the Battle. life is a WAR... MR TUFF
 
This is so true. My wife found a silver Washington during a school fundraiser. I could not believe it!
