50 coin day: Plundering Vikings miss silver "O"

From the land of the Bluenose..a strong blistering nor'wester was a blowing big time out there today. Headed to a sports field and dug a few coins but I retreated to a park that was sheltered.

which proved to be a good move on my part as I was not dressed for the weather....Lord love a duck what a rookie mistake!

The trees in the park acted like a barrier against the heavy wind and actually made the dig enjoyable and so much so when this popped out!

After that I forgot about the cold and soon had my daily quota. Must say the film crew have the park in a shambles with all the heavy trucks driving through it. Talked to the prop master who was telling me about the viking movie they were filming and how they had to go to Newfoundland to rent this viking looking boat for the movie.
