50 year-old joke

I heard this one about fifty years ago. It was told by my cousin's wife. She's Hispanic from El Paso, TX. so I hope this isn't considered racist.

There is a cheap hotel down across the border. The low price meant any bed linen cost extra. A rough-shod hombre walked in and asked for a room. The hotel clerk asked "Would you like sheets on your bed?" The guy replied "You sheet on my bed and I kill you!"
