Re: '62 D quarter in change

Thanks, all! From the dinks and scratches on it, obviously circulated for awhile, but not anywhere near what it should be worn to after 58 years. Minted while JFK was still alive.

Re: '62 D quarter in change

Nice find! My most recent change find was a 43s war nickel.

Re: '62 D quarter in change

Thanks for all the nice comments. Sorry Chug and Red: I'm diabetic, and can't have alcohol as it interacts with all my meds and insulin. Sounds good though!

Went out again this AM and picked another 25 pounds or so in about 2.5 hours.

Here's one she can probably have.

Blackberry Smoothie:

Chip a glass-full of ice cubes in a food processor, add a handful of blackberries (or two), and add cold skim milk to fill. Carbs, cold, and a little sweetness without any added sugar, plus fiber (seeds, skins) and refreshing! Perfect when it gets hot.

Pretty simple to make

Re: '62 D quarter in change

Sweet Coin..I check everything nowadays..I got a 1943 War nickel in my change from Walmart..

Sad thing was there was some sorta of glue on the back :( .. Probally stolen froms someones collection....the Reason it makes me sick is because about 2 years ago my house was robbed with all my important coins...Still a little bitter about it :'(

Nice find thou

Re: '62 D quarter in change

Checked Diggin-N-Dumps stats, and see your rakin' in the dimes! Many, many more than I have found this year.

Sorry to hear about your house being robbed. You have a right to be bitter.

Someone broke into my home about 12 years ago. Took a pocket watchfob that had the first dime my grandfather ever made in it. The dime I can replace: common date, bad condition. But the history is irreplaceable.
