7-21 finds

Another Monday, another hunt. I walked on to the beach and saw 3 hunters in the water already. Undeterred, I started working my way south and ran into a whole lot of seaweed/sea grass. It was everywhere. I would wade through and come out looking like Swamp Thing. There was a lot of time spent swinging with no signals. I found a few pockets of coins here and there. I ended up with the following:

6 quarters
9 dimes
3 nickels
12 pennies
1 junk ring

I so agree with Road, but i must say...not many things give me the "creeps" but touching seaweed does!!... oh and octopus suckers do too!.. lol shaka \OOO/Mikey :tongue3:

Nice hunt willie d, too bad about all the sea grass. I ran into some of that when I was down there but not as bad as you describe. Congrats on the ring, even for a junker they're a nice confidence booster.
Where is the other penny?

LOL Ya know, I was wondering if anyone was gonna notice that. The other penny was still encrusted so I let it soak and forgot to include it in the pic. Thanks for noticing and the reply. Good luck and HH

yeah the seaweed and grass is the worst, its scratchy and makes you think of all kinds of critters

That's a neat feeling finding pockets of coins.

I hate the sea weed that is at the beach right now. It is in large quantities and the water around it smells really bad. The other day I tried to get to the other side of the weed line, I didn't make it. A wave hit and the $%&$ was all over me. I fell over from the weight. I even found the stuff in my pockets when I got home.

Any finds are good finds. Congrats.

I'll admit, I got spooked by a fish once or twice just after walking through a patch of the stuff.Good luck and HH
