Here ya go, I hope the pics of the limace blade came out better for ya'll. Got an example from a website that I thought was informitive. I posted the rest of my finds, and a rectangular scraper that looks like nothing that i have come across thus far. Thanks for the comments and help ya'll...

Very nice example you got from KY Uniface, very sweet indeed. I notice it isn't as rough around the edges as mine. Thanks alot for the info and pics, it makes me want to go out tomorrow, oh wait, i have to work 8-5.

Nice big example Abarnard, everything's bigger in Tx. Here's four I found on the same site in WV. All have minimal work on the uniface side. What's the material of that sweet one from Ky uniface, nice one. The other two are from Tn, would you classify these as limaces too?

Damn Thirty7, those are nice pieces you got there. I like the one limace on the very far left of your first pic; not the bottom pic of the two artifacts. It sure looks interesting to me though, it looks the most prismatic. Thanks guys for showing me your examples...

Check the one on the bottom right though. It was prismatic before the pot lid.

Sometimes they're worked "up-&-over." In this case, the graver spur is pretty pronounced.

Others can be thin, like the illustrations from the book you posted.

Not all of them are big, either.

Uniface, that pic of the thin limace with the brown lithic material has more or less the same shape as the one I found. Those sure are some beautiful examples, and it's good to know that they can be found small as well. I am going to head back to my spot where I found mine and see if I can't pull another one out of the same area. The limace I found just looked like a small piece of worked flint b/c it was buried under some sand and small gravel. As soon as I brushed a little away from the cortex of the artifact, I knew immediately that I had something special.. Thanks for some more examples. I tried finding some on the net, but I did not find as many as I would have liked. You gave me plenty, thanks again.

Yep TN, I have learned alot from some of the posts these guys have put up..... I now know what to look for when I am huntin. I bring everything back with me so I can better study what I have accumulated. Can't wait to see another post from you guys. Be safe, and thanks for the replies.
