8/3 New old ballfield Seated-tokens-Barbers-IH's-PICS

Today my buddy and I hunted this ballfield dedicated in 1976. It's truly amazing what's still left out there. J did great, he dug a Walker, mercs, silv quarter, IH's, tokens too! I've dug 5 Barber dimes from here in 3 hunts, and 4 mercs. Old coins galore! Why were they missed?

Either/Or...

New Detector technology,
just a damn good detectorist,
or that freaky/weird event where there is a place so obvious, so blatant, no one ever hunts,
thinking the other person has hunted there.

I would be camped out there every day.

Congrats on the great finds Burdie!

I agree with CurbdiggerCarl57, that detector technology is to blame for your great finds!

Maybe it's never been detected before or maybe your just a darn good hunter!

Nice finds! The Borden's Hotel maverick token has been attributed to Dickson City, PA on tokencatalog.com - it would be nice if you could post a photo of this piece on that site.

Awesome Digs Man!!..I would love to find a Seated ANYTHING..seems like that 1976 ballfield had some activity on it way before them...
