Oldest silver I have found

Went to several locations today. Started off at a house dates to 1917 a friend of mine went to school with. I scored two wheats 26 and 44. And my friend said I got the unique find for today. It looks to be a button in the shape of a purse. It has two holes side by side about the size of a dime the back side is smooth no words at all on it. But today I found my oldest silver to date. It says 191 what I believe to be a 8. But any way it is my oldest to date found 20 never teens.

Any assistance will be great and appreciated I can get on the purse button as I will call it now

Nice finds.. Can't help with the mystery item.. But congrats on the wheats and the merc..

Thank you pong. We had a blast hunting even though it was over 100 just barely but still.

Considering statehood happened in 1907 a house from 1917 is pretty old, relatively speaking! I am a transplanted Okie and want to come back and detect around old family homes!

let me know when you get back. Lets get out and do some hunting

It looks like an ornate button maybe off of a purse, or a charm from a bracelet that used to have a little bow tied in it!
