950 AU??

Recently found a necklace that appears to be silver, but the large tear drop shaped pendant is marked 950 AU China. It appears to be high quality. Any thoughts on this? I have never heard of 950 AU (AU is rthe chemical symbol for gold, but that would be higher gold concentration than 22k.....).

Have it tested, but the AU is probably a makers mark, the 950 is high quality silver....Or it's Platinum. Get it tested. Congrats either way.

I appreciate all the feedback!

I took it to a jeweler and was informed it is high quality Silver from Argentina (95% silver vs. the typical 92.5% sterling). Anyway, I am smiling!
