I found an average sized band this morning. The mark on the inside is "BBROS 950". There is what appears to be a hallmark after the numerals but I couldn't make it out.

The ring weighed in at 6 grams which I though was a little light but I have seen similar weights on rings posted here that were Plat.

Any ideas???

Ive never seen or heard of Silver being Marked 950 without having "Sterling" on it was well. Most Platinum rings are marked PT900, or PT950, or just the numbers, in your case 950

Test it for sure, its worth the 12 bucks for a testing kit

Post a Pic of it if you can

These obscure companies don't all go by US or European standards, look up 950 silver. All we have to go by is what the OP described, not even a P on platinum more precious than gold is suspect.

If this IS the same hallmark...the Company is based out of London....I would think they would go by European standards

I try not to assume, the evidence is clearly in this thread and in the link that I posted where there are 6 threads with topics seeking what is it with BBROS markings.
You assumed that I was just running off on the keyboard.

You may have solved this mystery, but if not, here's some info I found today after finding a similar ring. Look at the border around the 950. If it looks like a house, it's platinum, but if it looks like a flat-topped pyramid or 3 interlocking circles, it's palladium. https://theassayoffice.co.uk/help-with-hallmarks/anatomy-of-a-hallmark
Mine is palladium.
