So I was bored after school and decided to hunt the back field again. After about an hour of digging only 2 brass pieces my grandpa drives down to the field just to see if I was finding anything. He then proceeded to ask if he can hunt for a few mins. Which I'm happy he did because his first signal was a button and I'm pretty sure it's and script I. He let me keep it anyway. It's in bad condition though. 12207.webp

Definitely looks like one. Congratulations to you and your granddad. Cherish these moments.

Thanks relic nut. Neither of us were expecting it but we still had hope there was a good button in that field. Just goes to show that a field hunted 100 times can still yield incredible relics

Excellent save, congratulations :icon_thumleft:

Very nice, it's hard to get them for sure.

Best find - spending time with your Grandpa! I would frame that puppy and note that you and Grandpa found it. Years from now you will look at it and remember that day. Thanks for sharing your story with us DiggerKid2003.

Yeah it looks like one, Nice dig!

Yep. That's a script I. Great find!
