16:00 pm >> Mrs. Fooserpaul calls to let me know there is a package that just arrived for me...
16:15 pm >> Close Outlook, Shutdown Windows 7...
16:30 pm >> Head for home...
16:40 pm >> Arrive at home less than 2 miles away...
16:45 pm >> Grabbing a knive to get this sucker outta the box!
16:45 pm >> SUNRAY X-1 Probe in hand :-)
17:00 pm >> E-Trac newly fitted with new X-1...
17:05 pm >> Changing as fast as I can as I've not been out in 9 days and I have a new toy!!!!
17:20 pm >> Arrive at hunting spot...
17:25 pm >> Dig 1st target and click the switch from coil to probe...
17:26 pm >> Kicks self in the a$$ for waiting so long to buy this awesome product!
17:30 pm >> Green wheaties are a poppin!

17:45 pm >> I was 98% sure this sweet 12/45 12/46 sound was silver....

17:50 pm >> Clad... Wheaties... oldies... 1921 and 1926...

18:15 pm >> Sterling Ring

18:35 pm >> 12/46 again... I'm 98% sure this sucker is silver....

1944 Mercury...

17:00 pm >> Clad.... wheat... clad....

17:10 pm >> I realise that I have not had a signal in 10 minutes... just a faint in and out...
17:12 pm >> I figure out that sound is the X-1 in Probe mode and the sounds are it getting close to my Lesche as I swing it....
17:13 pm >> Kicks self in the a$$ again for being stupid!

17:20 pm >> 7" iffy but promising signal...

17:22 pm >> Probe now says the iffy signal is a nice 12/46...

I have a Sunray on my DFX. I know exactly how you feel, I still do this occasionally myself.

Congrats on the ring, and the Trifecta, Sweet, Congrats!

Been using the X1 since Feb. 1 and I like it a lot. I've gotten into the habit of turning the probe

​

off immediately after I place it back in it's holder.

If you say you have not swung your detector for at least 20min with the probe activated then you are a LIAR. It happens to me on occasion and then I am compelled to hunt the area behind me AGAIN.

Etrac is in my future I do believe super hunt story there and I lol at hunting in probe mode, I once detected for about 10 minutes with my headphones stuck in my pouch

Congrats on the trifecta, looks like you've got a great spot to hunt

I used to do that with my Sunray probe sometimes too...I dumped the Sunray and went with a ProPointer on my machines...problem solved
