A banner hunt yesterday,,,,,

[Mike from MI]

4 hours back at a pounded site that had a little dirt movement. One wheat, an 1874 Indian, two V's, one Buff, two barber Dimes, a standing liberty qtr that needs cleaned, a SWEET 1853 Seated qtr, and a nice sterling set of pilots wings. Research shows around 1930 because of the clasp on the back. Also a neat little pin with mother of pearl inlay, and a victorian era gold plated wedding band (most gold is gone) . Also got some other doo dads and a 6oz coke bottle.

[Silvermonkey]

Wow...That's a great hunt! I'm drooling over the Seated quarter...what a beautiful coin!

[BigWaveDave]

that old quarter is sweet!!!! great digs!!!

[thrifty76now]

I like your quarter with all those rays on the reverse. The silver wings are also very neat.

[texjim]

Thats a year or more worth of finds in one hunt... Awesome digs.

[Argentium]

Could you show us the reverse on those wings -( I think I found that same one) , I didn't know if it was military or motorcycle related
the small size is what caused my confusion - I suppose hat pin if military .

[Professor of Engineering]

Congratulations on the coin recoveries.

[RJ55]

Nice digs

[Loco-Digger]

That's a lot of sweet old ones. Congrats I'd still be stoked after digging all of them in one hunt.

[qaela4]

Dang, you got one hell of an assortment of coins in one hunt. I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight.

[Johncoho]

Really cool finds. Way to go!

[deershed]

I'd say you killed it, Congrats!!

Love that seated quarter and the silver wings, Sweet!!

[PlzBSeated]

Mike,

Why do I feel like I am following in your footsteps? If I am, you missed a nice 3 cent nickel. Gotta pull those foil signals! We'll find out if we are travelling the same grounds come a week from Tuesday.
