Hey guys,

I'm new to this forum and I'm new to the hobby. Just bought me the Garrett Ace 350 and Garrett Pro-Pointer AT. Got them on sale:thumbsup:!

I'm out in the Magna/West Valley area and I'm a bit flustered. So far after about ten hours total, I've found a couple new nickels, new pennies, pull tabs, and a key. It is a bit hard recovering targets and understanding things like bouncing signals and what seems to be ghost signals. I'm wondering what advice you guys have on this. Also I'm having a hard time finding places.

Time and patience. It might be best if you just throw in the towel. Complaining gets you nowhere.

Find books about the old days and if they got photos all the better. Make a list of where old businesses once were located, around those places the old stuff was dropped or lost.
