A blizzard blew in a few days ago and covered all the hunting grounds, but that shouldn't dissuade New England treasure hunters from continuing the hunt.
I dug a few thrift shops in lieu of dirt today and found a very nice Sterling Silver and crystal dish. It cost only $2 but it's probably worth at least 10 times that in silver content alone.
I think it's some kind of giant coaster. I did some research on the mark "TWR" and discovered its made by the "Wolfenden Silver Co".

Yes sir, I've done the same this time of year, little coin roll hunting as well, fun, but not the same lol

Sweet score!

Thanks, I've been trying to get into CRH too, definitely one of the most neglected of the high-potential-gains treasure hunting arenas. :)

Dagnabbit you just inspired me! I'm going to hit the drifts after work today, and find nothing, but the hell with it, I'm going!

I've been unable to detect for the last week because of the snow but apparently it was all in my head. Lol

Nice find, sometimes we "dig" great things without our detectors!
