Hello Everyone,

After a fun cold early morning hunt, I decided to go out again around 1:50 pm to kill some time. I went back to my favorite old park this time using the V3i @ 22.5 kHz looking for Gold jewelry. The park didn’t give up any jewelry this trip, but it did present me with a 1919 Buffalo Nickel. The coin is worn and only the last two digits of the date are visible; still a keeper for the collection. Of course clad coins were found and lots of small pieces of junk. By running the higher frequency this type of junk is “par for the course”. Still it was fun to get out for a second hunt in the middle of January with the temperature hovering around 34 degrees.

I hope to get out tomorrow and hit the soccer fields seeking the gold ring surprise.

Thank you for looking.
