A Bunch pics I took along the way of my hunting yeterday.

Here is the pics i took yesterday wich ended in finding my oldest coin to date.
all these pics are taken withing 7 miles of my home.


Pic 1 2 and 3 are of the beach where the sand washed away exposing trees from 1000s of years ago that sunk into the ocean.
this erea is under constant work on the highway because it sinks 3 to 5 inches a year the whole erea here has been sinking into the ocean.
im thinking that those trees sank in a massive earth quake some time way back.


pics 4 and 5 are of the yuquina bay light house

pic 6 and 8 are of a place you dont want to be not watching the ocean..its a minus tide and the ocean can have sneaker waves and or return quick

pic 7 is cool thats not the moon its a drop of rain on my camera lense....

pics 9 10 and 11 are of a hidden cove and some seals resting on the rocks as you can see its a very low minus tide

1234567 and 8 are taken from Cape Foulweather.
pic 9 is of the worlds smallest harbor Depoe Bay where I live
and pic 10 is the coin that ended they days hunt a 1408-1424 AD chinese cash coin.

Wow! That is some beautiful land and seascape you hunt out there. A great coin too.

absolutely beautiful pictures..its so cool to see all these totally awesome places right from my home.. I have never seen a minus tide before in my life..and I live here by ocean city..that is just unreal seeing that... thank you so much for sharing..

YOU NEED TO GET A TIDE BOOK THERE ARE SEVERSL DOZEN A YEAR

open year round they must be over 22 inches to keep
i have hooked some so big they snapped 80 lb test like it was a piece of thread.

funny you should say that.
I see you are froim west Virginia,
that is where my family is from many years ago.
it was the Raders who helped found west virginia.
i guess theres a place there called Raders Valley that was my great great great great great grandfathers way back..lol
however i have never been to WV
