Woke up to the chorus of the multitude of singing birds which was permeated by the occasional caw of a crow and a very lonely pheasant. Dragging myself out of bed an epiphany entered my half witted brain... "Today is a good day to dig." Being one not to temp providence Zen and Aqua Guru were in Nogo's trunk in a split second. Mind you being in that state was not conducive to operating a race horse like Nogo.
Navigating through a phantasmagoria of undulating traffic which had numerous dare devils behind the wheel racing to see who would get behind the next car at the red light first.
Tim's! Medium double milk making this bouy almost clavinet. Not only was the coffee hot but the weather was edging up on the thermometer with the sun occasionally peaking out of the cumulus clouds. Carefully making my way along the Bedford Highway I pulled into a park giving Zen Guru (AT Pro) a work out. He was in his zone rooting out a few coins and a discarded lure . Stepping on that would be an unpleasant affair to say the least. Not too long into this foray the sweat began to pour off of me akin to Niagara Falls. The prudent thing was done. I retreated to Nogo pointing him west.
A most relaxing drive with the windows down ended at a lake that is used heavily by the locals. After a lengthy conversation with the life guards Aqua Gur (Sea Hunter MK2) was pressed into action netting various dangerous nails, shrouds of metal and other forms of unpleasantries that no one likes to find on a sandy beach. I make a point of showing the guards this debris before putting "garbage in it's place. Received a nice thank you while continuing to grid off the small beach. Turned around at this point noting that I had attracted a pair of shadows asking the usual questions. Politely I answered as the rugrats stuck to me like a sculpin on a load of fish guts laying on the bottom. A man watched intently. Kids father who was getting free babysitting as he lay on his towel.
It was about this time that I got a signal that almost blew my ears out. Took three loads of sand in my sieve to release this target from it's burial place. Wowzer a plastic container .....full of coins. The shadows moved closer as I opened up my horde of coins albeit modern ones. The questions started coming so I skated out into waist high water to get a good look at my horde as the rugrats floundered on the shore.
After a quick cleansing the item was put in my pocket as I gave a good effort finding every target that dared be under Aqua's coil. A few coins were netted. I was cooled off with the best thing being that the father and his brood had departed from the beach before I hit land. A quick "tally ho" to the life guards and this bouy meandered to his abode for some refreshments and a meal.
