A cool find

I found this one at a rarely used park.
A 1982 Hungarian 1 Forint.
I think it's like worth 1/2 cent over here.
No matter, I just love foreign coins!

If they could talk we most likely wouldn't understand what they were saying being that they would be speaking in a foreign language!!

Ah yes, communist Hungary in 1982, I can't imagine anyone with a time machine excitedly saying they would want to go there. This coin serves as a tangible reminder of the economic and social stagnation that was late cold war era eastern Europe. On a positive note by 1989 the regime collapsed, so there's that 🤣
