Metal Detecting
Went to an old field that has been farmed for over 350 years today for about four hours. It has been detected to death for years by a lot of people, but it's a huge field, and if you want to put your time in, I'm sure there's more to be found. I ended up with an 1863 fatty IH, a 1723 Hibernia Copper, and what I believe is a 1697 William III halfpenny, and a few relics. 001.webp003.webp004.webp

Wow those are great historic finds! Congratulations! Crops are still in here and I'm chomping at the bit for harvest to come so I can hit some fields too.

Nice job on the coppers. Both in decent shape considering they were field finds :icon_thumleft:

Awesome! You put the time and effort in and the finds speak for themselves. Very nice!:notworthy: That does look like a William III. Congrats!

Couldn't smack the smile off my face if I had a coin day like that. Congrats on some awesome finds.:laughing7:
