Found both of these yesterday. The frost item is a silver plated brooch with green glass that is meant to look like an emerald. The C clasp on the back date it to about turn of the century. The pin is still there and does work, although it is very corroded. I used a little lemon juice to shine it up a bit. The second item is a hat pin. The top is really nice, I thing it is either heavy gold plating or gold fill. The rod piece is gold plated. The top is very nicely ingrained with some nice floral design. Any idea of an age for the hat pin would be very much appreciated. Thanks for looking!

I don't have any idea on the age, but that ornate design on the head of the hat pin is totally cool!
