A CVS register log

Personally found at work in 2014 (I may have misplaced a few):
12x nickels
9x dimes

2x half dollars (one Ben)

Found about half that in nickels and dimes at Coinstars, and another dozen in a few rolls of half dollars.

Wow, keep an eye out for that guy that paid with an IH and a steelie. Hopefully he comes back!

Nice! What kind of coloration was the steel cent? Did it scream steel cent, or was is sort of tarnished? And anIndian Head. Just found my first IH a week ago. A steel cent is still on my bucket list.

At first glance I assumed it was just dirty.

Most people don't look at their change or know anything about coins, so it probably sneaked past several people and right into your register. A steel cent is one of the items missing from my bucket list. Can't wait to find one of my own.

I had to open on Tuesday despite the blizzard. Was there for eleven hours before the DM said we could close early. At least I got a nickel out of it! Sales total for the day wasn't even 5% of a regular Tuesday.

I also found these four coins on Wednesday. Has anyone seen the coloration found on the 1983s before?
