A farmers mentality

I was walking up to a farmhouse door I'm to ask permission to metal detect in the front yard I saw a three legged pig. just then the farmer came to the door we exchanged pleasantries and I could not help but ask about the pig. he says well that pig is a hero two times over my daughter was drowning in the mill pond and that pig went right in there and dragged her out and saved her life. and a year and a half ago the barn caught fire in the middle of the night and that pig burst through the screen door squealing and squealing and made such a clatter that we all woke up in time to save the barn. so after he finished his story I said that does not explain why the pig only has 3 legs. and he says "a pig like that you sure don't eat all at once"
