Afternoon,

Here are several small bird points I found a week or so before the water came up. These things can really hide and since the majority of surface hunters here are out for the "big stuff" many times these little jewels escape the masses. That's just fine with me, I love them.

Happy Hunting,

Atlantis

those are some great little points.i myself like finding the lil ones too/and the big ones.i think they should hold more value than they do,how on earth would you make something that small??thanks for sharing.

Nice stuff for sure. The small grey one with the brown ear (at 7 o'clock I believe) is really super.

I always liked southern points, especially the birdies. The smallest looks like Novaculite, very cool.
Always look forwards to seeing what you find Atlantis.

Molly.

My pleasure Molly,

I feel I have been slipping lately...havent had the time to look as much as I would like and many of my old haunts have about played out. Working on finding a couple of sites here...urban legend mostly. You know the drill....someones granpaw used to plow a place and hit grinding stones and pottery.....so you have like 10 square miles in which to find it....a needle in a haystack would be simple.

Hoping to find some new stuff to post soon.

I know the needle in a haystack only too well. I haven't been finding much here myself but, I'm off to a new spot the weekend, lets just hope I have something to show ya'll.

Good luck with your new spots, lets hope you find a sweet complete "Agee" or "Frileys" both are a fave of mine.

Molly.

Cool little birdies, I like the novacultie one too.

Hey Atlantis
Those small points are great. We enjoy finding them as well. Some are the size of or smaller than a dime. We are geting lots of rain here so hopefully it will scatter out some stuff in the rivers creeks and fields.May be under water though all weekend. Happy huntin.

You take great pics take some insitus of those artifacts...

LOL,

You know this is gonna sound crazy, but when I take a camera, I NEVER find anything. Also normally I am so nasty digging in my mud holes a camera wouldnt survive. Still I will try and get a few shots. When I walk the lakeshore it makes for good insitus.

Happy Hunting,

Atlantis
