Antiquarian,I believe it is a type of buckle used on horse tack,I have found 4 or 5 this year with the same heart design.I like the token also,the front design is very similiar to a Morgan Dollar...

Thanks for the response Soupie. Too bad the token is holed,
very cool though. That style of horse tack must have been a pretty
popular seller in your area back in the "olden days".

HISPAN,I think the Letter Opener is my favorite of the group,not an everyday dig.tried a bit of research on the Yorkville Bank,but have returned no results as of yet.I hope to find something...
