I just got back from 5 days of camping in the woods and looking for new spots to detect. While I didn't really find any single place that produced a lot, I did keep busy with a lot of random targets. I hit swimming holes, forest and even pull outs along the roads.

The 14k gold wedding band was found right next to the road in a little pull out area (the other ring is junk). Looks kinda purdy in the sunlight!

The two running medals were found in a swimming hole about 20 feet apart.

The spanner wrench thing is made of brass, not sure what it's for.

The mother-of-pearl cufflinks were found on a scenic bluff overlooking Lake Tahoe. They were found about 10 feet from each other and although they don't really match, I think they were worn and lost as a pair. One is stamped 'The King' and the other is unmarked and shaped just a little different.

So, $10.16 in clad, a nice gold ring, some cool relics and other random junk, and 5 days of peaceful camping and hunting made for a pretty good time in the woods!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about this aluminum token that I found at a closed campground.

Interesting finds, the cuff-links look to have some age to them too.
The brass "spanner wrench thing" I'm thinking is likely a vintage bottle cap opener.
