No real rain in 22 days. I’ve been hoping for a few good rains before the fields freeze. Went today for as long as my lower back would take it.
Found these 4 flakes. One is much darker than usual from this site.

Gotta be a point there somewhere!

I keep hoping. So far this year, from 3 fields, I’ve found a couple of preform points, a possible spoke shave, a coffee can full of flakes and one actual blade. Amazingly I’m not disappointed. The blade is great and the flakes/debitage are all a part of the cultural history too.
