Beautiful day here yesterday (the calm before today's storm) so walked down, metal detector in tow, to the now wooded and overgrown area near what used to be a train station on one side, and an old home and gas station on the other. Managed to find an - Insist on Virginia Dare Flavors bottle - a very small perfume bottle - an old Craftsman razor knife - the remains of a 1950s Kilgore Ranger cap gun - 2 buckles - a horseshoe - an old iron handle of sorts? - a small decorative aluminum piece? - a circa 1910 curtain rod holder - an Aubin Enterprises rubber squeaky bear circa 1950s - a REM-UMC NO 12 NITRO CLUB shotgun shell head circa early 1900s - etc. 1.webp10.webp9.webp8.webp7.webp6.webp5.webp4.webp3.webp2.webp11.webp

Great hunt. Some good age to that spot! [emoji106]

Nice finds! Glad you got out in between storms!

You recovered some nice old stuff on that hunt.

Nice finds, congratulations! :occasion14:

I love the old relics, and what an assortment you found! Throw the bear in the garbage, though. He's clearly made to induce nightmares...

Lots of signals in that spot,, wonder why there were no coins??

Turns out the ornate aluminum piece is the tip of a western style belt.8.webps-l1600.webp

That bear looks like it wants to stare into my soul, then suck it out! Very cool finds dating back over one hundred years! There has to be some coins there! Well done.

LOOKS LIKE A 1940s KINNON CAP GUN AND OLE SHOE POLISH BOTTLE> NEET FINDS> THE ONE LOOKS LIKE A LATCH?
