Its a sediment rock we have alot of here. Not sure if its cochina or another one but its basically old ocean floor.
 

What is the 2nd one? At least you got out some.

At first glance, I thought it was a bone flute. I guess people really find those?? I never have!

Did they smash the bones much for the marrow soup? Seems they pulverized all the animals here. I mean smashed. Crazy huh? Nice finds.

At some sites they sure did...it almost seems they didn't if they didn't have to though. Since lithic material like chert and agatized coral don't occur naturally here (about sixty miles to the closest outcrop) of course it was expensive "In their terms" so what I see locally is the sites that have the chert have much more large bone material and frankly more waste. The sites with no chert I find smashed and burnt bone and very little waste. Everything used until its pretty much gone. Mostly shell used for tools. If you had the stone you were rich.
