I went to a far away place that I have been to on several occasions in the past over the weekend. I could only get in about 4 hours but even though the corn was over knee high I was able to scrounge some nice stuff since it had rained hard. All items are made of Flint Ridge material.

IMG_3011.webpIMG_3012.webpIMG_3015.webp First up some cache blades. Started but never finished. Largest one just under 4" on long end.

IMG_3013.webpIMG_3014.webp A pair of either Paleo square knives or cache blades with the ends broken off. And a nice hammerstone.

IMG_3016.webp A couple worked pieces.

IMG_3017.webp Cores.

IMG_3018.webp A nice point. I also found a small Hopewell point. IMG_2998.webp

IMG_3020.webp The one pointy piece is interesting. Probably used as an awl as there are tiny flakes removed from the sharp end.

And about another 7 pounds of worked items.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Awesome score!!!

Thanks. I still have to go through the other pieces to see if anything worthwhile is there. Lots of fun, lots of driving.
