I went to a far away place that I have been to on several occasions in the past over the weekend. I could only get in about 4 hours but even though the corn was over knee high I was able to scrounge some nice stuff since it had rained hard. All items are made of Flint Ridge material.

IMG_3011.JPG IMG_3012.JPG IMG_3015.JPG First up some cache blades. Started but never finished. Largest one just under 4" on long end.

IMG_3013.JPG IMG_3014.JPG A pair of either Paleo square knives or cache blades with the ends broken off. And a nice hammerstone.

IMG_3016.JPG A couple worked pieces.

IMG_3017.JPG Cores.

IMG_3018.JPG A nice point. I also found a small Hopewell point. IMG_2998.JPG

IMG_3020.JPG The one pointy piece is interesting. Probably used as an awl as there are tiny flakes removed from the sharp end.

And about another 7 pounds of worked items.

Thanks. I still have to go through the other pieces to see if anything worthwhile is there. Lots of fun, lots of driving.
