I hate to bundle a what is it but I don’t think these really stand alone, just some recent finds that have me wondering
A… a locket, just long shot on I’d, I can’t make out the words on the back

B… found on same site, was not expecting it to come up a military button. Is it really or are there other buttons that use the same pattern? The back seems a little different and the black and the quality make me wonder.

C…. Different older site not sure if it’s from a hame, feel like I’ve seen it before but not placing it

D…. Same site, I’d say hinge but the deal that looks like a spring at a 90deg angle doesn’t make sense to me

E…. Found at an old farm house that was burned in the early 80’s… I’m wondering clock weight? Or fishing weight but has a 1 and a little decoration at the too

F… lastly same house gone by 1980, I thought it was crap at first and joked it looked like a hat, I cleaned it and now I really do think it’s a hat, a heavy metal cowboy hat feels older than the 70-80’s I know it’s a long shot but anyone else see a hat and have any idea when it came from or what it attached to?

I know not the most special things but I like to know what I got if I can. The more I know the less likely I’ll trash something good. Thanks for looking and sorry again to make the all in one post.

The 13 star button was originally used on the WWII US Army uniform. Post war it was used by many companies on denim and work cloths. The design has been used up to modern times.

With the glossy black enamel look of the paint on yours, I'd lean towards a commercial made/used button.

Cowboy hat reminds of a keychain. The smaller hole seems to be where most of the keychains attach, versus the large hole in the front.

Thanks for the reply, I kind of suspected that might be the case on the button seemed a little sloppy around the edges. Keychain would make sense, I thought about a bracelet charm but seemed too stout for that , keychain seems more probable.

C is definitely a piece off of a harness set.
I’ve found quite a few like it. If I remember correctly, it works in conjunction with the “trees” and levelers. I’ll see if I can find better info.

Could the "spring" thing be a screen door hinge (self closing)....? :dontknow:

I believe you are right. It looked familiar but I couldn’t remember why. Your post jogged it loose. 👍🏼

Here is a photo of a piece quite similar to photo C. I believe the square sections were rein/strap guides. Ticndig will know for certain.
