Thanks Yakker= Around here it would be called a Pee-Dee pentagonal. Other areas might be called a Jacks Reef pentadonal.

That is a nice assortment! Wonder if the one yakker mentioned is a Jack's Reef Pentagonal Projectile Point and what is the material of that one. Those are all great finds!

Thanks Peaches- It's ryholite. Jacks Reef would be correct to. In and around the Pedmont area of N.C most refer to as Pee-Dee.

hey could I see a pic of that jack's reef that shows how thin it is? i think I found part of one…mine is smaller and less complete…but wafer thin. nice finds!

Very nice. Is that chalcedony on the left in the first pic? The serrations on the Quartz piece next to it are cool, don't see much serrated Quartz around here. Nice pile of artifacts, thanks for the view.
