Went out swingin' alongside Jmastny78. I dig up a clump with a reeded edge embedded in it. Hopin' for seated. Ask JM if he would like the honor of doing the reveal. He takes me up on it and gently removes one side of the clod from the coin. "What is it?" He responds..."I don't know. Wait...it's foreign."

A beautiful dime from our friends up north. I have never found a Canadian dime this old. So I have to consider this a "first".

Dug up this slug. Was disappointed because it rang up perfectly as a nickel. Got it home and was able to make out a five under the light. It's there! I'll never get a date though.

Fake as a three dollar bill. Still makes your heart skip a beat when that jumps out of the hole covered in dirt.

I'm guessin' a Victorian Brooch. And
The other piece has a nice design...not sure what it is though.

Today's digs...
Undated Shield Nickel
1903 Canadian Dime
1947 Silver Rosie
(2) IHPs 1896, 1898
(2) Wheatbacks 1957-D, 1957-D
Junk ring
Victorian Brooch
Wow! Can't remember the last time I got two silvers in one day.
