Hey everyone!
What a day! It was a long and boring day here. I finally decided to take my dog Oreo for a walk. We went walking along the edge of some woods where I discovered an early 1900's bottle dump a few months ago. I have pulled up over 60 cork top bottles out of that dump and I'm still finding bottles and other relics. (Hope to post some pics of the bottle dump soon!
)
So anyway, we went walking along the edge of the bottle dump when I found, you guessed it, another bottle! This one is a cork top medicine. It would have had a paper label. The only embossing is at the top "3 1/2 ozs." As I bent down to pick up the bottle, I saw something silver looking. Thinking it was a piece of aluminum, I kicked it. But it wasn't aluminum! It was a 1979 class ring!
WOW! Didn't expect that! There is no silver or gold marking. Only marking inside the ring are the initials "R. E. L." This is my first class ring, and I didn't even need a metal detector! I will try my best to find the owner and return it to them! Wish me luck! THanks for looking! HH and God Bless!
