Been a few weeks since I've been able to get out, pretty busy at work. Anyway I am very happy with today. I was actually starting to think I would get skunked for the 5 hours I was able to hunt.

I hit this merc about one inch down.

Then I swung my coil and caught a high tone near a bush. It was coming up as copper penny or clad dime...I was excited to see one dime where half the dirt ball fell off. I forgot to get a picture of it in the hole. I swung the coil over again and got another high tone....I though for sure there would be two in the hole but it was a 1935 wheat. So this is my first barber dime!

1935,36, and 68 pennies

I also came across an old dump, with some 30s era bottles all the way up to the 50s..heres the junk for the day.

Congrats on a couple of very nice silvers there Vhoov! The Barber dime is a beauty. Now that you've broken the ice, I'm sure there will be many more in your future.
