Friday while doing my dump at local credit union I checked the reject tray and picked up a bunch of pennies, some quarters and a few dimes. Was busy with the dump and did not look at the coins till later.

The machine kicks out silver and wheat pennies.

In the mix was a 1909 P VDB. I searched the coin all over and with magnification and unfortunately no S exits on the thing. Oh well, it is in good plus condition so I have a neat coin with a little value. Happy Hunting all ( also the silver halves were good to me on Wednesday and provided 88 coins out of 4 boxes. 84 were 40's and 4 were 1964's, happy!).

Hey smitty! Congratulations on an awesome cent find
... I've Done hundreds of cent boxes and haven't found a 1909 cent, let alone a vdb or s vdb.
Great job on the silver too!
Nice to see you post :)
