Very enjoyable day...pulled the V nickel first. 1891 or 1897...which do you think? Also managed to nab four mercs.

That's a great day in my book! I love mercs! Nice finds!

Great finds.... The 24 Merc is sweet.... Tough to tell on the nickel, looks like a 7 to me....

looks like an1881 to me....nice finds!!!

Great hunt. Love those mercury dimes.

My man! You're on the rise and consistently finding some old digs. Great snags and keep them coming.

Congrats on digging those 5 keepers. I see it as 1891.

Congrats on the early mercs + v nick!

Thanks all. Much appreciated. Looks like the consensus is 1891. Saw a couple folks say 1881. I wish that were the case (68,000 mintage shield nickel) but it's definitely a v-nickel with 'cents'

Heck of a haul! , love the mercs

4 Mercs and a V nickel is a good day in my book. Older Mercs too. Looks like a good site.

I know I'm late, but it looks like an 1891 to me. I was with Loco on that one. Third digit does not have the lower circle part of an 8. It has a curl of a 9.

Nice v and silvers
