A fun day detecting with my wife and daughter but little treasure found

My wife daughter and I went out detecting for a couple hours this morning at some local parks and while we had fun, and I got to use my new At Pro, we didn't find very much.

Found a total of 71 cents all clad between us but still has fun. My wife kept saying she was going to beat me in finding coins and would you believe it, she did beat me by 1 cent

She ended up with 3 dimes and 6 pennies and I ended up with 3 dimes and 5 pennies. We really thought that was funny.

My daughter found an old square nail and an old tin can full of little spiders. We laughed about it, never heard of a can of spiders before. Seems weird they were all living in the can underground like that too.

Anyhow just enjoying this great hobby and glad it is something the whole family enjoys together.

Lol, yes well I guess when I come on the board here all excited to post our finds but then see all the old historic stuff others find, it doesn't seem like much of a treasure

All in all though, it is the fun of finding it for us regardless of it being just clad. I love watching my wife and daughter's faces when they call to me to borrow the pro pointer and they are all intent on digging up their finds. Its a great family hobby IMO

My daughter is 28 year old veterinarian that has been hunting with me for about a year. She outhunts me and usually gets the best finds using a Tesoro Compadre. Great Fun. steve

p.s. i found an old coffe can buried underground and it to was full of grubs and spiders lol bout 4 inches under the top soil
