My wife had a GREAT DAY. First SILVER Coin Spill...

We were at the end of the day, just moved to another spot with tons of trash. Still at the old farm, but in the post 1870's part when I hear her say, "that's a coin". I ran over to see and damn, it an SLQ!

She ran the coil over again and bam, another sweet signal. A 1941 Mercury dime. Then holy crap, another signal. This time a 1938 Washington quarter.

I told her "now you know what to listen for!"

She also found a tricycle wheel. Talk about digging everything to learn.

Very nice! Those are some beautiful coins. Looks like a good time. I just bought my wife her first detector, a Minelab Vanquish 460. We’ll be going out later today for the first time with it.
