A Good Relic Detector?

Hey guys i was wondering if i could get a couple opinions on a good relic detector? I been learning the garret ace 250 for about six months now and i like it but i know i can find alot more with a better detector. Thanks

Sandman, you have in fact agreed with what I said. Ignoring Minelab ie almost every singal frequency detector going "auto" means fixed. Fixed means unlikely to ever be optimised to the users ground conditions and any larger/smaller coil is also not going to be able acheive its best performance.

Considering the small extra cost of having adjustable ground balance when a detector is first purchased its foolish to skrimp in this respect.

i got my tejon today learned how to ground balance and did what you said rover. very easy to learn thank you. i dont know what happened though, i packed it in my book bag with my cell phone and went to my spot to hunt. when i put the tejon together to start it up, it would not stop making noise! im thinking my cell phone messed it up. the thing is, the tejon was off in my bag! has anybody has this problem with theres?
