Come on now. Im not allowed to say the word.

It looks to be Obsidian and if that material is found in your area I would say a tool or knife. The stuff can stay sharp for thousands of years. I know Kuger and Bosnmate are familiar with the material I am not. Chance is it is a good find from the beach :dontknow: He looks like a happy hunter :tongue3:

My beach obsidian shows a lot more (beach) wear. The stem/base area doesn't look like any of the 60 point/knife types i've seen here. What is your id for this piece? And by beach you are saying saltwater?

no disrespect but it resembles a 'truck stop' or 'gift shop' piece

That's why I posted it.

It was found on a beach, My buddy doesn't need to Spin a Story for me - so I beleive he found it on the beach. A very public Saltwater Beach in the puget sound. He suspects it was a giftshop piece. Thanks for looking - let's let this Thread get buried! PEACE PEOPE
