A little luck token.

[Brian C.]

I went back to the same field I found the 1/2 dime. There were to homes that I have found so far, this location is at the west end of the field. I have not found much in old coins, just a couple from the 1940s period, but today I was able to find these two finds. The medalion says, Good luck from the farmers advocate home edition, the other side has some religious readings. The advocate was publishing magazines from 1866-1951, if this is correct. It was raining but I enjoyed the hunt any way, I am not made of sugar so I won't melt. HH

who couldn't use a little good luck now and then.

I am hoping this is my lucky token, just like the four leaf clover. The last couple lottery draws I have won a free ticket, who knows what this week will hold.

The religious phrase is from Genesis 27:39: "And Isaac his father answered and said unto him, Behold, thy dwelling shall be the fatness of the earth, and of the dew of heaven from above;"
