10k gold chain, diamond-cut, 30" long, 8.32g. It was just sitting there next to my Raptor, waiting to be picked up. After 2+ hours of detecting, I was thirsty.

Gotta love broken lobster clasps.

Oh, and I dug a silver rosie too:



Sometimes your best finds aren't in the dirt at all!

No, this is a good idea and definitely the right thing to do. There weren't any other customers in there, though. I'd ordered online and parked in the quick pickup spot, so it was most likely lost by someone just like myself.
