A little snail from Natchez, MS...and something "man-made" pressed in a rock?

My wife and I make weekend trips to the Natchez, MS area often and we found an interesting piece or two this weekend. Every time we go we walk a couple of hours on the gravel bars of the St. Catherine creek that runs through town near(not on) the Natchez Indian Grand Village (Fatherland site mounds).

A snail fossil.

A gray rock with something seemingly man-made pressed into it at some time in the past.

Metallic object (I think maybe copper) with a hole drilled through it. Probably nothing, but I always keep things that seem to be drilled or punched.

The black cobble is natural. It has sections of crinoid stems (and some other marine shells) embedded, some in end-view, the prominent one in longitudinal cross-section.

Yes, your second, dark rock has a crinoid fossil in it.

Both rocks are fossil bearing stones, the dark one like it was said is a crinoid stem, the other one is a small very very old sea ammonite, the other item I don't know, but here in Natchez all copper turns green over time never red. The red item could it be stone, it looks like a iron concerstion that happens around here. Be careful of what you pick up near the Grand village it is state land , in the creek and the land across from the village. Cool finds ,hit me up before your next visit and I can put you on a spot or 2.
By the way where your wife is standing look across from her at where the log is laying. You will notice a soil change that grayish clay and the loess soil meets right there and that is ice age stuff in that zone.
