It looks like Labor Day will be my last hurrah in the lake. There were lots of people on the weekend, but not many going into the water as it's been kinda chilly lately.
I did manage to pull one little gold religious pendant.

The under-water part of this beach has been totally sanded in by wind waves in the last month or so. It's about 2-3 feet shallower now than then, but I did find one little trough that was deeper than normal. That's where the three wheat cents came from. They are a 1944, a 1942-s, and a 1958-d.

The 1942-s has a couple of specks of gold stuck to it!
Fools gold. :laughing7:

The amulet with the purple crystal is just copper, but kind of cool looking.

That's it for now, thanks for lookin'!

Nice hunt! You just might have to give it another try....or two. :icon_thumright:

Tahoe is beautiful. I don't remember the water being really warm in August a few years ago when I was there on lakeside Beach. Im stubborn i push it till i can't feel my hands. Finally got hip waders this year so at least my feet wont be numb. Congrats on the gold! Crystal piece is cool too!

Congrats on the gold
Nothing like what you're getting, but better than nothing!
I'm pretty jelly about those massive beach cuts you have to detect.
If only Lake Tahoe had tides and ocean waves! :laughing7:

Oh no, it never gets warm, only somewhat tolerable. 🥶

Nice finds, I like that religious medal.
