✅ SOLVED A nail snail and a thingamiggy

I have no idea what either of these items are. Sorry for the lack of title!

The larger item is fairly heavy, I found two of these at the trash pit that I have been digging in. This pit is in the woods in Northeast WI on family property.

Well the big one is a roller for an old barn door. The other looks like a blob of melted aluminum with a rusty nail in it.... This pic is of similar rollers.
