The orange or neon. It's not so much about losing it in the hole. It's being able to spot it from a distance if you leave it setting on the ground. The two camo ones would make it harder, not easier.

If I ever get so excited over a "dug" find that I lose my Pinpointer, I will no longer need a Pinpointer ! Only a bank.

Yes they are so shine that you can not forget to pick it up.
The camo version come with a lanyard to connect with belt. Many Propointer users equipped for this concern.
