A new day, a new trench in the CSA lines. Bullets, wood and what's that? Glass??

Still hunting in the same trench lines, but in a different section. Dug a pretty nice three ringer in wood. Then I hit a CS Gardner spill. Eight perfect dropped Gardners in a hole about the size of a bucket. Between gardner #7 and #8, out pops this little bottle. I know ZERO about glass, but assume it's period. Anybody help me with that? Finished the day with two dropped enfields, two dropped 3-ringers, and a shot 3-ringer. Any chance the iron object is a flash-hole pick? (No known artillery pieces in this spot) Tailgate shot is digging buddy's impressive 26 bullets and two more in wood.

Love the Gardners, definitely in a good spot. A nice button ought to pop out of there soon.

Beautiful bullets....looking forward to seeing your future finds from this spot.

Love those confederate bullets
