A Nice Asortment of Relics this Weekend!

[mangum]

I had a great time this weekend saving a little history! I went to a group hunt Saturday. & found a nice assortment of relics, the woods were very overgrown but there were some fantastic finds made. (just not by me!) 4 nice Confederate buttons came off of the site!

I had off today & went out with a few friends to a clear cut we got permission for, no research just pure speculation. A couple of nice arrowheads were found & we did locate an early 19th century home site that produced about 12 flat buttons. It was a beautiful day to get out, a PTO day well spent!

Great work. Wondering what is still waiting to be found. Those buttons look ancient.

Always a great feeling when a randomly scouted site produces great relics. Nice digs

Great hunts Josh. Take a mower to site 1 and dig it all!

Well done Josh!

Nice couple of sites there Josh. I'm sure you'll be going back to that first one this winter when the undergrowth is gone. Nice hunts!
